Description

Wake up to cozy Maple Cinnamon Overnight Oats! Creamy oats swirled with cinnamon and topped with pure maple syrup, crunchy pecans, and fresh bananas. The perfect warming breakfast for chilly mornings. No cooking needed!


Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup milk

2 tbsp pure maple syrup

1 tbsp Greek yogurt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp chia seeds

Pinch of salt

2 tbsp pecans, chopped

1/2 banana, sliced

Optional toppings: extra maple syrup, cinnamon stick, walnuts


Instructions

1. In a jar, combine oats, milk, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, Greek yogurt, cinnamon, vanilla, chia seeds, and salt.

2. Stir well, making sure cinnamon is evenly distributed throughout.

3. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours.

4. Before serving, slice fresh banana.

5. Top oats with remaining maple syrup, banana slices, and chopped pecans.

6. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and add a cinnamon stick for presentation.

Notes

Use pure maple syrup, not pancake syrup, for best flavor.

Toast pecans for deeper nutty flavor.

Add a tablespoon of flax seeds for extra nutrition.

Can substitute walnuts for pecans.
